High quality of work – safety and satisfaction of the patient and staff!

The main goal of the team's work was determined to form a patient-centered model of medical care in the institution. The model contains various aspects of the interaction of the hospital as a structure providing medical care and the patient as a person receiving this care (medical personnel and equipment, medication, a comfortable environment, etc.). First of all, a lot of work is being done to train and improve the competence of staff. The principles of "lean manufacturing" and quality management systems are being implemented with the active involvement of all hospital employees.

As a result of such work, this year the LOCB was certified as a medical institution that meets the quality and safety standards of medical activity of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "National Institute of Quality" of Roszdravnadzor. The certificate is valid for 3 years, after which recertification is required. Certification was carried out in 11 areas, which include all aspects of the work of medical institutions such as: personnel management; safety in patient identification; surgical, medicinal, epidemiological safety; safe environment and much more. In addition, over the past years, involving the staff in the correct alignment of work processes based on the principles of "lean production", our team has achieved certain competencies, which allowed us to successfully pass a partner quality check of the sample for compliance with the regional level according to the methodology of Rosatom State Corporation in November this year. In recent years, the hospital has implemented three dozen different projects within the framework of "lean manufacturing". Many of these projects are ready for replication. Modern personnel management systems are being implemented with delegation of authority and training in the ability to make responsible decisions within their competencies.

Well, as the "cherry on the cake" for the hospital staff, there was an exit at the end of November this year to the final of the All-Russian competition "The Best mentoring system in healthcare". According to the results of the competition, LOKB took the third place among six finalists from all over the country!
