The Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation for the treatment of neurosurgical patients of the Lipetsk Regional Clinical Hospital for patients with a wide variety of pathologies of the central nervous system, with a capacity of 9 beds and 2 operating rooms, was created in 2009 for the Lipetsk region. The head of the department is a doctor of the highest category L.V. Saliev.
The department is a center for the provision of specialized care for seriously ill neurosurgical patients in the Lipetsk region. The department is engaged in the provision of planned and emergency medical care, as well as the conduct of anesthetic aids to patients with craniocerebral and spinal injuries, tumors of the brain and spinal cord, with acute cerebrovascular accident, patients with convulsive conditions of various etiologies, coma of various etiologies, with impaired vital functions, etc.
The department is equipped with:
- a system of centralized monitoring of the patient's basic vital functions. UCM;
- state-of-the-art ventilator equipment of an expert class "Dräger Evita XL", "GE Engstrom Carestation and Сarescape R 860";
