ANESTHESIOLOGY AND INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
The anesthetic and intensive care unit of the Lipetsk Regional Clinical Hospital was organized in 1961 under the leadership of the first head E.T. Gliznutsin. Then A.A. Kolodkin, V.V.Sapov supervised the anesthesia-intensive care unit. At the origins of all activities were remarkable anesthesiologists and resuscitators: E.B.Safonov, G.I.Bobylkina, L.P. Vlasov. In 1986, the department moved to a new hospital building on Moskovskaya street. The anesthesiology-resuscitation service was divided into two independent units: ARC - anesthesiology-resuscitation department and ICU - resuscitation and intensive care unit. At present, the ARC department is headed by a student of this collective and a continuer of professional traditions, an experienced doctor, anesthesiologist-resuscitator of the highest category, a member of the expert council of anesthesiologists-resuscitators of the Central Federal District Tikhonov V.A.
Anesthetic support is carried out around the clock. In the afternoon - by 12 teams in accordance with the work schedule of the operating unit and operating rooms located outside the operating unit. During duty hours, 2 doctors work in the department.
More than 6,000 different anesthesias are performed per year. Practically all modern methods of anesthesia are used in the department; optimal schemes and combinations of drugs for anesthesia have been worked out, depending on the patient's condition and the volume of surgical intervention. The main areas of activity are: combined methods of anesthesia for long-term and traumatic operations, the so-called. multimodal approach; anesthesia in thoracic surgery with an element of one-lung ventilation; modern inhalation anesthesia with low flow sevoran; various types of regional anesthesia (more than 34% of all anesthesia); total intravenous anesthesia; modern blood-saving technologies (application of the Cell-Ceiver 5 apparatus), etc.
Residents of the anesthesiology and resuscitation department carry out trips to the districts of the region and beyond on the instructions of the department of planned consultative and emergency care (up to 90 trips per year).
