Pulmonary department
The pulmonary department has been functioning in the regional clinical hospital since 1985, at present it has 30 beds, three of them are allergic. The department is staffed with highly qualified personnel: one candidate of medical sciences, three doctors have the highest qualification category, one doctor was awarded a government award - Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation. All doctors specialized in clinical bases in Voronezh, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and have certificates.
The diagnostic capabilities of the department meet modern requirements - clinical, biochemical, bacteriological, immunological, endoscopic, morphological, radiological, functional studies are carried out in a wide range.
In the treatment of pulmonary patients, the latest methods and achievements of domestic and world pulmonology are used: antibiotics of the latest generations, antiseptics, immunomodulators, bronchodilators, inhalation and systemic corticosteroids, infusion therapy, retrosternal lymphotropic therapy, sanitation bronchoscopy, pleural puncture, extracorporeal methods of treatment. Modern means of delivery of inhaled drugs are used: nebulizers, spacers. With the opening of the thoracic department on the basis of the LOCB, a pulmonological center with wide diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities was organized: FC, HBO, reflexology, massage, a wide range of physiotherapy. Since 2004 "Asthma-school" has been functioning.
