Toxicology department
The hospital's toxicology department was established in 1988. The first head of the department was Konstantin Vladimirovich Sychev, later the department was headed by Vladimir Vitalievich Ekimov, Yulia Nikolaevna Dubrovina. Since 2011 The head of the department is Olga Dmitrievna Krivosheeva, a doctor of the highest qualification category.
Currently, the department is deployed to 21 beds and includes an intensive care unit and resuscitation unit for 6 beds.
The department is staffed with highly qualified personnel: all doctors have the highest qualification category.
The staff of the department is constantly improving their professional level, taking an active part in conferences and congresses.
The department is intended to provide specialized toxicological care to the population of the Lipetsk region using all the available diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of a multidisciplinary hospital.
Main directions of activity:
- treatment of patients with acute poisoning using modern technologies;
- providing round-the-clock advisory and organizational and methodological assistance to health care facilities of the city and region in the treatment of patients with acute poisoning;
- work on sanitary and hygienic education of the population in order to prevent acute poisoning.
In the treatment of patients, in addition to modern drug therapy, efferent methods of treatment and hyperbaric oxygenation are widely used.
An integrated approach to the treatment of acute poisoning using the capabilities of a multidisciplinary hospital allows in a short time to achieve an improvement in the condition of patients, to help reduce mortality.
