The gastroenterology department is staffed with qualified personnel who have undergone specialization on the basis of leading clinical centers.
The diagnostic capabilities of the department correspond to world standards - this is ultrasound diagnostics using expert class devices, the ability to conduct endoscopic examinations, as well as CT and MRI examinations of the abdominal organs, dynamic scintigraphy of the esophagus, stomach, liver and biliary tract, puncture biopsy of the liver followed by histological tissue examination.
In the treatment of gastroenterological patients, the latest methods and achievements of domestic gastroenterology are used. Good results have been achieved in the treatment of gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, and a wealth of experience has been accumulated in the treatment of chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver. In addition to modern medicines, efferent methods of treatment (plasmapheresis), hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO), and physiotherapy are used.
